New reality TV show has god's places as destination

NEW DELHI - Reality TV in India is going places - and its making sure no concept goes amiss, not even one involving god. STAR Plus’ new show “Mahayatra” has 12 participants vying to fulfill their parent’s dream of visiting the four major Hindu religious centres - Puri, Rameshwaram, Dwarka and Badrinath.
The unique show is a test for young contestants to prove their love, dedication and sacrifice for their parents, as well as for them to become the modern-day Shravan Kumar. The young man of Indian epic Ramayana carried his blind parents for a pilgrimage in two baskets slung across his shoulder.
“As children, we have all heard of Shravan Kumar’s story of how he set out on foot with his blind parents to the four holy ‘dhams’ (places). His journey was left incomplete as he was hunted down. With this show we are aiming at completing that journey and finding a modern-day Shravan Kumar,” Monika Shergill, senior creative director, told reporters here Friday.

When I saw this house Michel Uffie top hat with his miniature veil of gauze over the UnBride I just had to throw in LOVE / HATE queue.
Because, oh God, I can not stand it! While it may indeed be eccentric and therefore perfect for unbride, it seems too similar to those worn by something cartoon characters old Timey. You know, the stocky man with a big head and little hat? More like miniature top hats go, this one is booooring. Moreover, the veil is attached just a little awkward.The bride who wants to wear a tiny top hat would rather watch Bubbles & Frown, purveyor of totally sweet mini caps which go for about $ 100 ... compared to $ 645 for Uffie, which I hate.
What say you?
Where oh where has Bubbles & Frown been all my life ????????? I have never coveted an Eyepatch both in my life! And their mini-toppers are quite spectacular.
As for this ... I like the concept much better than the execution.I tend to prefer cap or veil over the hat and veil, but if you do the combo I think it is better to do something closer to riding hat ladies' long days past. In this case, there should be a small blush that falls just below the chin, like this:
I must say that I find myself with the concept but left severely underwhelmed by the performance. Also?At this price tag I expect something a little less awkwardly designed. Hate ... but would love a better deep.
